Mary Ann Clyburn age 57 of Fries, Virginia passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at her home.

Mary Ann was born on June 3,1960 in Galax, Virginia to George W. Ray, Sr. and Ella Mae Gravley Summey. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charlie A. Clyburn; sisters Cora Swinney and Connie Osborne and a brother Dickie Lee Summey.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Charlie J. and Ashley Clyburn of Wilson, Virginia; Everett and Nedra Clyburn of Galax, Virginia; four grandchildren Sydney, Alexis, Lundhyn and Joseph; sisters and brother-in-law Carol Crowder of Woodlawn, Virginia; Jackie and Pete Stanley of Fries, Virginia; twin brother Roger Ray; brothers and sister-in-law Harold and Regina Summey of Fries, Virginia and George Ray; many nieces and nephews and a very special friend Michelle Bond.

A memorial funeral service will be held Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 5:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Pickett and Pastor Bobo Gravley officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 PM until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
