Mary Jane Nichols age 69 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday January 25, 2022 at her home.

Mary Jane was born in Galax, Virginia on July 7, 1952 to Bruce Wagoner and Margaret Bowers Cline. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Willard Gene Cline and Freddie Matthew Cline.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law Emerald Dawn and Kenneth David Parks;  Desiree Dare and Benjamin Aaron Thornton all of Galax, Virginia; Starr and Timothy Anderson of Independence, Virginia; brother Bruce Wayne Cline of Savannah, Georgia; six grandchildren Allen Mathes Parks; Codi Lee Parks; Sarah Adrienne Presnell; Libby Jean Presnell; Leiah Azriel Thornton and Syrus Alazar Thornton; granddaughter-in-law Ambie Hamilton; three great -grandchildren Brayden Meadows; Thomas Murphy and Sebastian Parks.

A graveside service will be held Monday at 2:00 PM in the Leonard Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
