Mary Roseann Midkiff age 81 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.
Mary was born on April 11, 1945 in Hillsville, Virginia to Raymond and Magaline Nelson Midkiff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Joe Midkiff; Lonnie Midkiff; Jerry Midkiff; Jimmy Midkiff; Johnny Midkiff; Opal Jones; Guida Midkiff; Nancy Carol Reece and Sandra Gunter.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Regina Dalton Farmer of Fancy Gap, Virginia; Christy and Al Prudencio of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Joseph Farmer (Emily); Allison Farmer; Noah Prudencio; Maggie Prudencio; sister Debbie Midkiff (Eric Matthews) of King, North Carolina; brother Michael Midkiff of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; special friends Joe Caviness; Sandra and Roy Lee Shaw.
