God welcomed home a beautiful angel, Mary June Lovell, on Friday September 3, 2010.

Mrs. Lovell was born on May 13, 1934 in Grayson County, Va. to Dwight and Topsy Moss Moore. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Nadine Underwood and a brother Landon Moore.

She is survived by her husband Jessie Lovell of Fries, Va.; daughter and son-in-law Terrie & Phillip Cochran of Roanoke, Va.; son Jimmie Lovell of Fries, Va.; granddaughter & spouse Melanie & Whitney Donithan of Statesville, N.C.; grandson & his fiancee' Giles Cochran and Christina Nolen of Roanoke, Va.; two great-grandchildren Taylor Reece Cochran & Ava Grace Donithan; three step-grandchildren Tyler & Travis Hale; Trenton Parks; sister & brother-in-law Joyce & David Anders of Independence, Va.; brothers & sisters-in-law Johnny & Donna Moore of Sparta, N.C.; Phipps Moore; Hardy & Doris Moore all of Fries, Va.; sister-in-law Muriel Moore of Crestview, Florida; special niece Diana Melton; several other special nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Liberty Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Tim Smith & Rev. Rodney Christman officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from two until service time at Liberty Hill United Methodist Church.
