Mary Ellen Leonard age 77 of Galax, Va. passed away at her home Monday, August 20, 2007. Mrs. Leonard was born in Grayson County, Va. on September 1, 1929 to William Edward & Lillie Ann Patton Dillon. In addition to
her parents she was preceded in death by a brother John McLean "Mac" Dillon. She is survived by her husband Lewis Ray Leonard of Galax, Va.; daughters & son-in-law Lora Leath of Galax, Va.; Lisa & Daniel Semones of Cana, Va.; sisters & brother-in-law Maxine Morris of Galax, Va.; Betty & Louie Robinson of Lyleville, Pa.; brothers & sisters-in-law William "Bill" Dillon, Robert & Evon Dillon, Carroll & Debbie Dillon, Roger & Shirley Dillon, five grandchildren; several nieces & nephews also survive. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 11:00 AM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Bob Davis and Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the McKenzie Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
