Mary Kay Leonard, 52, of Fries passed away Tuesday at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC. She was born June 12, 1955 in Galax, VA to Clayton Martin & Iva Stanley Martin.
She is survived by her husband David Leonard of Fries; son Zachary Leonard of the home; sisters & brothers-in-law: Lori & Frank Hawks of Fries; Jan Mathena & Terry Davis of Rural Retreat, VA; brothers & sisters-in-law: Alan & Joan Martin of Fries; Eddie & Mary Ellen Martin of Harrisonburg, VA; mother-in-law & father-in-law Gloria & Kyle Young of Fries; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law: Jay Leonard; Kenneth & Gina Young, Bobbie & David Shupe; Robin & Lyn Shupe all of Fries, and Brenda Shupe of Madison, North Carolina.
Mary Kay was joined in death by her mother Iva Lee Stanley Martin.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 15, 2007 from 6 until 9 o'clock at the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church. The funeral service will be held at the church Sunday, December 16, 2007 at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Bill Linkous, Rev. Darrell Martin, and Rev. Bill Shupe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
