Mary Katherine Anders Landreth age 60 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at her home.
Mary was born on April 5, 1950 in Carroll County, Va. to William George & Helen Akers Anders. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Mildred Rutherford and a brother George Anders, Jr..
She is survived by her husband Clinton Charles "Pete" Landreth of Galax, Va.; daughter & son-in-law
Betty June & Keith Grimes of Fries, Va.; granddaughter Brittney Nicole Grimes; sisters & brother-in-law Linda & Clyde Burnette of Woodlawn, Va.; Louise Davis of Mt. Airy, N.C.; Charlotte Cowgill of Brooks, Va.; brother & sister-in-law Robert "Pete" & Judy Anders of Fries, Va.; several nieces & nephews; many friends and special friends Carrie Lou & Ralph Sheffey.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Holder & Rev. Eddie Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Galax City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from seven until nine at Fairview Baptist Church.
