Mary Frances Johnson, age 76 of Ennice, NC died Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Woltz Hospice Home, Dobson, NC.
Mrs. Johnson was born Sept. 19, 1939 in Grayson County, VA to John & Blanche Whitter Isom. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mack Johnson; son, Robert Clarence Johnson; daughter, Pamela Sue Johnson Richardson; brothers, Harvey, Glenn, Woodrow & J.D. Isom.
She is survived by son, Earl Johnson, of the home, and friend, Vaneta Willard; sisters & brothers-in-law, Mildred & James Nelson, Galax, VA, Mandy & Starling Jennings, Speedwell, VA and brother, Delmar Isom, Wytheville, VA; son-in-law, James Richardson, Sparta, NC; brother-in-law, Boyd Johnson, Ennice, NC; sister-in-law, Emma Lee Edwards, Ennice, NC; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews, also, survive.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2016, 10:00 AM,
at the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel, Galax, VA with burial to follow in the Glade Creek Union Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. Officiating ministers will be the Rev. Eddie Wooten & the Rev. Phil Edwards.
