Mary Frances Isom age 62 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 in the Blue Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mary was born in Grayson County, Virginia on February 17, 1953 to Harley and Laura Bell Wilson Spears. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Isom.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Karen and Jimmy Cline of Fancy Gap, Virginia; sister Betty Cox of Fries, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Clinton and Betty Spears of Fries, Virginia; Allen Spears of Collinsville, Virginia; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday January 13, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
