Mary Belle Horton Myers' Obituary
Mary Belle Horton Myers age 76 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012 in the Waddell Nursing Home.
Mrs. Myers was born on February 26, 1935 in Carroll County, Virginia to Raymond and Pearl Mae Gardner Dickenson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Howard Myers.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law David and Lisa Horton of Hendersonville, North Carolina; Terry and Karen Horton of Mt. Airy, North Carolina and Tim Horton of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Amanda Welch, Michael Horton, Matthew Horton, Dustin Horton, Hannah Horton, Ciara Horton and Kayla Horton; great-grandchildren Jeremy Horton, Samantha Horton and Ariana Scudder.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ernie Smith and Rev. David Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
