Mary Sue Hines, 72, of Fries passed away Sunday September 12, 2010 in the Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax. Sue was born April 5, 1938 in Grayson County Virginia to Hobert & Mollie Carrico Hines.

She is survived by her daughter Kim Hines of Woodbridge, VA; two brothers & sisters-in-laws James & Edna Hines & Roger & Joyce Hines all of Fries. Several nieces, nephews and great nieces & nephews and many special friends also survive.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM in the Providence United Methodist Church near Fries with Rev. Vickie Neese & Pastor Lee Houston officiating. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 o'clock until 8 at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
