Mary Ruth Bottomley Frost age 82 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday August 30, 2021 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Frost was born in Carroll County, Virginia on October 2, 1938 to Romey and Martha Lillie Redd Bottomley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thurman Lee Frost.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Debbie Frost of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Regina and Ed Vadeboncoeur of Fancy Gap, Virginia; three grandchildren and spouse DeAnn and Christopher Smith of Hillsville, Virginia; Amber Combs of Woodlawn, Virginia; Trevor Vadeboncoeur of Fancy Gap, Virginia; three  great-grandchildren Landon, Kenadi and Raelyn; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 3:00 PM in the Oakland Cemetery with Dr. Ronny Harrison and Marvin Williams officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home; however, friends may call at the  home 1448 Tower Road Galax, Virginia 24333.
