Mary Marie Dills age 82 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, January 31, 2025 in the Galax Health and Rehab Center.

Mary was born on November 16, 1942 in Grayson County, Virginia to Thomas J. and Vergie Wright Dills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law Patsy and Benny Shupe; her brother Junior Dills and a special friend Gayle Brown.

She is survived by a nephew Matthew Dills; special friends Peggy and Larry Evans of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; Debbie Handy and Linda Lee both of Galax, Virginia.

At the request of Mary her body will be cremated and there will be no services held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Twin County Humane Society, P.O. Box 125, Hillsville, Virginia 24343.
