Mary Ann Combs, age 71 of Galax, VA, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at her home.
Mrs. Combs was born Nov. 24, 1941 in Carroll County, VA to Randel Alexander and Lissie True Hill Wilson.
She is survived by her husband, Rudolph Combs of the home; daughter, Cathy Ann Combs, Greensboro, NC; son, Tony Randolph Combs, Galax, VA; sisters & brothers-in-law, Clara Ward and Ralph, Galax, VA, Betty Kehoe & David, Salem, VA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Robert E. & the late Mary Lee Wilson, Blue Ridge, VA, Tommy E. Wilson & Frances, Meadowview, VA.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 in the Great Hope Baptist Church at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Blue Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Great Hope Baptist Church from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, Feb. 25, 2013. Officiating minister will be the Rev. Camet Spivey.
