Marvin Lester (Pete) Colson age 62 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, August 20, 2009 in Twin County Regional Hospital.
Pete was born on May 20, 1947 in Galax, Va. to Marvin & Ellen Iretha Hinshaw Colson.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth & Gary Russell of Woodlawn, Va.; nephew Jared Russell; several aunts & cousins.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 2:00 PM in Felts Memorial Cemetery with Dr. Winford Hendrix officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
