Marvin Dean Clark age 71 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.

Dean was born in Pulaski, Virginia on July 30, 1946 to Jessie and Lillian Bratton Clark. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Tiny Patterson and a brother Bobby Clark.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Clark of Woodlawn, Virginia; daughters and son-in-law Renae Clark Talent of Blacksburg, Virginia; Stacey and Travis Frazier of Fries, Virginia; grandchildren Hanna Talent, Wesley Talent, Kassie Frazier and Chloe Frazier; brothers and sister-in-law Harold and Rita Clark of Arkansas; Jessie Clark of Pulaski, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law Goldie Lundy of Woodlawn, Virginia; special pet Sassy.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the caregivers Sharon Caviness, Karen Frazier, Sandra Lundy and Stacey Frazier.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Brother Max Combs and Jason Kline officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Gardens in Dublin, Virginia. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 noon until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
