Martha Jean Stoneman's Obituary
Martha Jean Stoneman age 64 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015 in the Forsyth Medical Center.
Mrs. Stoneman was born in Austinville, Virginia on September 18, 1950 to Theodore and Opal Payne Harrison.
In addition to her mother and step-father Opal and Brooks Bedsaul of Galax, Virginia she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Rachel and Barry Stuart of Stoneville, North Carolina; son Chuck Stoneman of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Charles Stuart, Josh Stuart, Brittani Stoneman amd Brandi Stoneman; sister and brother-in-law Janet and James Payne of Wytheville, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friend Kenneth Burcham.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor David Cox and the Rev. James Billings officiating. Burial will follow in the McKenzie Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
