Marsha Lavern Taylor age 75 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday August 13, 2022 in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital.

Marsha was born in Washington, DC on March 30, 1947 to Herbert and Clarice Smith Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Oscoe Taylor; children Tammy Carter; Perry Taylor; Robert Bristol Taylor, Jr. and Dallas Taylor; sister Diane Smith; brothers Danny Smith and Ronnie Smith.

She is survived by her children Gloria Johnson of Stafford, Virginia; Stevie Taylor of Pulaski, Virginia; Vivian and Retired 1 ^st Sergeant USMC Percy Mitchell of Fredericksburg, Virginia; Lavonne Taylor of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Linda Taylor of Pulaski, Virginia; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Edward Lydell Slaughter. Burial will follow in the Bethany Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
