Mark Daniel Nichols age 30 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.
Mark was born in Galax, Virginia on June 25, 1983 to John Donald and Wanda Phyllis Snell Nichols. In addition to his father, Mark was preceded in death by a brother Donald Kemper Nichols; maternal grandparents James Richard and Ella Kate Snell; paternal grandparents Kemper and Christine Nichols.
Mark was an employee of Wythe Fas-T Lube in Wytheville, Virginia.
In addition to his mother Phyllis Snell Nichols of Galax, Virginia, Mark is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law Melissa Dawn and Chris Smith of Max Meadows, Virginia; Elnora Catherine and Michael Shaffer of Galax, Virginia; nieces Allissa Rose Smith and Pheobe Nikole Smith.
The funeral service will be held Monday, May 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. Burial will follow in the Coal Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
