Mark Anthony Martin age 54 of Independence, Virginia passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021 in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital.

Mark was born in Grayson County, Virginia on April 19, 1967 to Junior and Jennie Paisley Martin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter Addie McLain.

He is survived by his fiance' Patricia Bowen; daughter Jessica McLain; son Josh Martin; step-children Shawn Bowen; Cory Gore and Kayla Easter;  all of Independence, Virginia; step-sister Lynn Martin of Marion, Virginia; grandchildren Harley Vaughn and Wesley McLain.

A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Bethany Cemetery in Independence, Virginia. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until time for the graveside service at the Bethany Cemetery.
