Marie Bruno Vogel Newman's Obituary
Marie Bruno Vogel Newman age 88 passed away Friday April 13, 2018 at
Assisted Living in Hillsville, Virginia. She was born in New York to Anthony and Concetta Guifre Bruno.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husbands Semour (Sy) Vogel and Walter Newman who both died with cancer. In addition to her husbands she was preceded in death by a sister, Santina Bruno Caniano and brother Joseph Bruno.
She is survived by her nephews Daniel J. Caniano of East Williston, New York and Anthony Caniano of Toms River, New Jersey and their wives. She is also survived by a great nephew Daniel C. Caniano and great niece Victoria Marie Caniano and special friend Shirley Mooney of Galax, Virginia.
A graveside service will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Coal Creek Community Church Cemetery with Pastor Randy Bledsoe officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the Coal Creek Community Church Building Fund, 3093 Coal Creek Road, Galax, Virginia 24333,
