Marie Custer Thomas' Obituary
Marie Custer Thomas age 92 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 in the Waddell Nursing Home.
Mrs. Thomas was born on April 2, 1918 in Franklin County, Virginia
to Thomas Franklin and Nora LaPradd Custer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gayle Thomas.
She is survived by her sister Abigail Boyer of Fries, Virginia; nieces Susan Higgins, Carolyn Johnson, Elizabeth Walters and Mary Cox; nephews Jackie Boyer, Jimmy Custer and Tommy Custer.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Summerfield United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Summerfield United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family wil receive friends Saturday morning from ten until service time at the church.
