Mrs. Marie Blake Pickett Anders, age 91, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Anders was born February 1, 1927 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Earnest V. and Ada M Reynolds Pickett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Horace N. Anders, siblings Ethel Burris, James V. Pickett, Katherine P Anders, Lillian Choate, and Nancy Pickett Holloway.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with James Howell, Chaplain Ross Rector, Pastor Barry Newman officiating. Interment will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time for the service.
