Marian Funk Atkins 89, of the Summerfield Community, Fries Virginia, passed away at her home Wednesday May 20, 2020.

Mrs. Atkins was born to Robert Contee and Grace Sutherland Funk on May 7, 1931 in Grayson County Virginia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Alden Funk.

She is survived by her husband Robert Roy Atkins; daughter Arlene Atkins Morgan (Dennis) all of Fries, Virginia; grandchildren Michael Morgan (Erica) of Princeton, West Virginia; and Daniel Morgan (Kiesi) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren; Kayla Morgan, Ryan Morgan, Christopher Morgan, Jonathan Morgan, Connor Morgan; sister and brother-in-law Linda Richardson (Allen); brother and sister-in-law Marshall Funk (Jeanne) all of Comers Rock, Virginia. Mrs. Atkins is also survived by several nieces and nephews

Graveside service will be held in the Summerfield United Methodist Church Cemetery.
