Margarette Lee Evans, age 75, of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday October 17, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center.

Margarette was born on December 22, 1945 in Galax, Virginia to John and Gladys Pruitt Evans. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters Reba Sue Evans, Patsy Jirleen Evans; and one brother William Mack Evans.

She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Pruitt and son Franklin Pruitt; both of Galax, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday October 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM in Laurel Glen Regular Baptist Church Cemetery in Sparta, North Carolina. There will be no visitation.
