Margaret Murphy Weatherman's Obituary
Margaret Murphy Weatherman age 82 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, October 4, 2010 in Cedartown, Georgia.
Mrs. Weatherman was born on December 10, 1927 in Grayson County, Virginia to Edward C. and Mallie Kegley Murphy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James M. Weatherman, four sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Kenneth & Jenny Weatherman of Cedartown, Georgia; grandchildren Kendall Lynn Weatherman and Andrew Richard Weatherman; sisters Doris Barrow of Winston-Salem, N.C.; Charlotte Rosebrook of Athens, Ga.; brothers Robert C. Murphy of Sparta, N.C.; Rex Rudolph Murphy of Clemons, N.C..
The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Vale United Methodist Church with Rev. Hugh Kilgore and Mr. Pete Killon officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from twelve until service time at Mt. Vale United Methodist Church.
