Margaret Day Leonard's Obituary
Margaret Day Leonard age 86 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, February 21, 2011 in the Grayson Nursing & Rehab Center.
Mrs. Leonard was born on July 1, 1924 in Carroll County, Virginia to Date and Mollie Allen Day. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Leonard.
She is survived by her brother Leslie Day of Richmond, Virginia; brothers-in-law and spouse James Leonard; Harry and Janie Leonard all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; several cousins.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Donald White and Rev. Randy Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Friends Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 12:30 until time for the service at the church.
