Margaret Ruth Leonard age 71 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday September 26, 2022 at her home.

She was born on December 24, 1950 in Pulaski, Virginia to Troy Hoover and Melba Ruth Woods Leonard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Roger Leonard.

She is survived by her daughter and son—in-law Christine and Charles Binck of King, North Carolina; two grandchildren Connor Binck and Cody Binck; sister and brother-in-aw Barbara and Mike Talley of Clayton, North Carolina; brother and sister-in-law Robert L. and Barbara Leonard of Galax, Virginia; one niece Michelle Huntington; nephews and spouses Alex and Jennifer Leonard; Anthony and Emily Leonard; Eric and Dusty Talley; David Talley.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday October 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Carroll Lineberry officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home
