Marci Dianne Hobernicht Parks age 41 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, April 22, 2007 in North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Marci was born on April 1, 1966 in Havre De Grace, Maryland to James Stewart and Patricia Gillespie Hobernicht. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband Kirby Scott Parks; daughters Courtney Dianne Parks & Meagan Nicole Parks all of Galax, Va.; brother & sister-in-law William Eric & Melissa Dawn Hobernicht of Low Gap, N.C.; half-sisters Margaret Ellen Lambert of Winthrox Harbor, Illinois; Leslie Mefford of League City, Texas; half-brother James D. Hobernicht of Kent City, Michigan; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Wednesday-April 25, 2007 at 2:00 PM in Gum Orchard Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Chamblin and Rev. James Hobernicht officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
