Our precious mama, grandma, and friend left all her cares and trouble of this world behind to enter her heavenly home on Monday October 20th, 2025. Mallie lived a life full of love, grace, and devotion to her family. She was the heart of our family and her laughter filled our lives and her love will remain in our hearts
forever.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Thurman W. Roberts, a son, Dwayne L. Roberts, a daughter, Brenda D. Roberts, a granddaughter, Melissa J. Shockley, and grandson, Scott N. Moxley.

Mallie is survived by daughters and son-in-laws, Reida R. and Michael Jennings, M. Teresa Roberts, Cynthia R. and Keith Bischer, and son and daughter-in-law, Terry L. Roberts and Carmela L. Roberts. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, four great, great grandchildren, and a special friend and caregiver, Vaneta Willard.

Her legacy is written not just in the names of those she loved but in the countless lives she touched with her kindness. Her presence was a warm, steady, and unselfish light, and that light lives on.

The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday October 24th, at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Chapel in Galax. Visitation will be from 10:30a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by the funeral service.
