Mallie Elizabeth Linville Pearman, 89, of Brush Creek Road in Ivanhoe died Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Grayson Nursing and Rehab Center in Independence.
She was born May 17, 1917 in Ivanhoe to Henry Anderson Linville and Ella Mae Mooney Linville and was retired from Washington Mills in Fries.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Ella Mae Linville, her husband Frank A. Pearman, her son Dewey L. Pearman, three sisters and brothers-in-law, Leila and Carlie Jackson, Darcus and Early Frazier, Ida and Will Frazier, one brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Kathleen Linville.
She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Hobert & Edith Linville of Fries; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie & Jason Newman of Galax, Sadie & Elwood Funk of Galax, Fannie & Glen Lowe of Wytheville; two sisters Goldie Blevins of Galax and Virginia Brown of Wytheville.
The family received friends Saturday evening from 7 until 9 pm
at the funeral home. The funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Sunday October 29 in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Steve Alderman, Rev. Robert McLean, & Graham Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery at Fries.
