Maggie Catherine Vaughan Willard Hamm  of Independence, Virginia passed away Friday February 26, 2021 at her home.

Mrs. Hamm was born  in Grayson County, Virginia on July 28, 1924 to Walter Cecil and Mamie Funk Vaughan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James S. Hamm; an infant son Ernest R. Willard, Jr., sisters Grace Padgett and Mary Jefferson; brothers Hobert Vaughan Arlie Vaughan, Dewey Vaughan and Willard Vaughan.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Della and Chip Watson of Independence, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the Fries Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Tony Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Fries Church of God of Prophecy.
