Maggie Lucille Padgett Marshall age 81 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital.

Mrs. Marshall was born in Grayson County, Virginia on May 4, 1935 to Robert Edward and Mary Mae Phibbs Padgett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Canada Albert Marshall; sisters Ethel Funk; Lena Cox and Blanche Padgett; brothers Wise Padgett; Tommy Padgett and Sidney Padgett.

She is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law Melvin and Irene Padgett; Morgan and Hattie Padgett all of Woodlawn, Virginia; Friel and Odessa Padgett of Hillsville, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friends Lonnie Marshall; Inda Mae Quesinberry; Clyda Rosenbaum and the staff at Waddell Nursing Home.

The funeral service will be held Monday, June 20, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Jim Longest officiating. Burial will follow in the Henley Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
