Maggie Lee Taylor Amburn age 86 of Thomasville, North Carolina and formerly of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday at the Spring Arbor Assisted Living in Thomasville.

Mrs. Amburn was born on October 21, 1935 in Carroll County, Virginia to Grover and Echols Jennings Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Alden Frazier and Arnold Amburn, Sr..

She is survived by her son Rick Frazier of High Point, North Carolina; two grandchildren Lindsay Frazier and Taylor Frazier; two step-daughters; two step-sons; several step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 12 noon in the First United Methodist Church in Galax with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 AM until time for the service at the First United Methodist Church.
