Mae Aline Chappell age 94 of Fries, Virginia passed away Monday September 26, 2022 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Mae was born in Galax, Virginia on May 25, 1928 to Clyde and Sadie Kegley Chappell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Melba Burcham and her brother Dale Chappell.

She is survived by her sister Edna Moore of Winston-Salem, North Carolina and her brother and sister-in-law Willard and Frances Chappell of Galax, Virginia; nieces and nephews Paula Bowling of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Phillip Chappell of Nederland, Colorado; Kelley Chappell of Galax, Virginia; Kiah Rose Chappell of Grand Junction, Colorado.

Per Mae's request inurnment will be in the Monta Vista Cemetery, Galax, Virginia at a later date for the family only.
