Lura Rippey Mccraw's Obituary
Lura Rippey McCraw age 88 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 in the Grayson Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mrs. McCraw was born on May 31, 1930 in Carroll County, Virginia to Calvin Troy and Ada Lowe Rippey.
She is survived by two sisters Vera Combs of Fancy Gap, Virginia and Virginia Combs of Lexington, North Carolina; brother and sister-in-law Charlie and Geraldine Rippey of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friend Gena Rippey.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Elder Pete Hawks officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:30 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
