Lucy "Lou" M. Roberts, age 93,of Colonial Heights, passed away Friday, February 27, 2009 at Colonial Heights Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late James and Mallie Austin Murray, and was preceded in death by her husband, Joe A. Roberts. She is survived by her daughter, Lorene Brown and husband, Grady of Colonial Heights; a granddaughter, Lorie Staples and husband, David of Colonial Heights; a grandson, David Brown and wife Cathy of Richmond; six great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm Tuesday, March 3,2009 at Felts Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Walt Simmerman officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday form 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
