Lucille B. Edwards age 90 of Woodlawn, Va. passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2007 in Twin County Regional Hospital. She was born on March 17, 1917 in Carroll County, Va. to the late Elisha and Etta Jennings Burnett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Chester Edwards; brothers Halvor Burnett, Clise Burnett and Clifton Don Burnett. She is survived by her son Chancy R. Edwards of Woodlawn, Va.; sister Madalene Smythers of Woodlawn, Va.; special friend Virginia Lineberry; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Friday, April 13, 2007 at 11:00 AM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Sammy Burnette & Billy Burnette officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
