Louise Gretchen Tyrrell age 86 of Glade Valley, North Carolina passed away Monday, August 17, 2020 in the Alleghany Memorial Hospital.

Ms. Tyrrell was born in a log cabin on July 15, 1934 in Cass County, Minnesota to Russell and Margaret Wipper Tyrrell. In addition to her parents, Louise, will be greeted in Heaven by her step-mother Flossie Tyrrell; sisters Dawn Olmschenk and Janet Baumann; brothers Dexter, Jim and Galen Tyrrell.

She proudly served her country in the US Army.

Louise will be missed by many nieces and nephews and a very special friend Rita Mull.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Fairview Church with Pastor Sam Holder officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
