Louise M. Hayes age 89 of Wake, Va. and formerly of Galax, Va. passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008 in Wake. She is survived by her daughters & son-in-law Shirley & Joseph Putman of Wake, Va.; Brenda J. Hayes of Laconia, N.H.; sons & daughters-in-law Ben A. & Clara Hayes of Winchester, Va.; Stephen & Christine Hayes of Hartfield, Va.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Sunday, March 9, 2008 at 4:00 pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. James Cowley officiating. Burial will follow in the Ladonia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Ladonia, N.C.. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church.
