Louise Crouse Diamond age 92 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023 in the Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.

Mrs. Diamond was born in Grayson County, Virginia on December 31, 1930, to Lester R. and Myrtie Blevins Crouse. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Elwood Diamond; son Michael Diamond and a daughter Mildred Wirt.

She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law Carolyn and Danny Cockerham of Galax, Virginia; Dorothy Griffith of King, North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Linda Diamond of Midlothian, Virginia; ten grandchildren Jill; Catherine; David; Jeffrey; Matthew; Jean; Cindy; Dane ; Mark and Lisa; seventeen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Hillcrest Baptist Church, 1218 South Main Street, Galax, Virginia 24333.
