Louise North Brock, age 66, of Galax, VA died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011 at her home.
Mrs. Brock was born Dec. 8, 1944 in Hazard County, KY to Charles and Laura Sizemore North.
She is survived by her husband, Spurgeon Brock, Ivanhoe, VA; daughter & son-in-law, Debbie &
Steve Alderman, Ivanhoe, VA; grandchildren, Jessica Parnell, Melissa Alderman, Brooke Alderman and Aaron Alderman; great-grandchildren, Andrew Parnell and Ethan Parnell; several brothers and sisters, several nieces & nephews and a special friend, also survive.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011 in the Cold Springs United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Officiating minister will be the Rev. Steve Alderman and the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Cold Springs United Methodist Church on Tuesday.
