Lottie Marie Trimble known as Marie Trimble age 89 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday May 3, 2022 at Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Trimble was born in Carroll County, Virginia on January 8, 1933 to Harvey and Janice Chrisley Dotson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Robert Lee Trimble and brother Bill Dotson.

She is survived by her sisters and brother-in-law Fern Dotson; Fay Dotson both of Galax, Virginia; Fran and James Ward of Richmond, Virginia; sisters-in-law Irene Trimble of Galax, Virginia; Betty Brown of Greensboro, North Carolina; nephews Gary Brown, Kevin Brown, Mitchell Ward, Jeff Ward (Rhiannon); great-niece Alexis Ward Schilke (Brandon), great-nephews Carter, Patrick and Collin Blair; great-great-niece McKenleigh Schilke.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Fairlawn Church of Christ Cemetery with Kent Allender officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
