Loretta Arlene Gentry age 69 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010 at her home.
Loretta was born on June 7, 1941 in Grayson County, Virginia to Clarence and Pauline Lundy Anders.
She is survived by her husband Edward Wade Gentry; daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Tony Shaw all of Galax, Virginia; grandson and wife Jordan and Kody Shaw; granddaughter and husband Mallory and Brad Hawks; sisters and brother-in-law Garnetta and B.C. Hankley of Galax, Va.; Juanita Beck of Clemons, N.C.; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 11:00 am in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ernie Smith and Rev. David Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in Crab Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 9:30 until service time at the funeral home.
