Loretta Jean Patton Edwards, 75, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at her home. She was born August 23, 1941 in Grayson County Virginia to Oscar and Ila Hale Patton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roby Ellis Edwards.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Theresa and Jimmy Hall of Elk Creek, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Mack and Missy Edwards of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Jordan Edwards, Autumn Edwards, Chelsea Hall; special niece Linda Weatherman and special nephew Larry Whitaker. Several additional nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening December 17, 2016 at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Patton Cemetery.
