Lorene Elizabeth Porter Hall age 81 of Fries, Va. passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Hall was born in Grayson County, Va. on January 13, 1928 to Rufus A. & Clyde Elizabeth Vaughan Porter. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roy D. Hall. She is survived by her brother & sister-in-law Paul & Judy Porter of Fries, Va.; special niece & her fiance' Brandy Hodge & Travis Jackson; a host of special friends and her church family. The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 1:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ben Haga officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
