Loree Phyllis Blevins-Smith, age 88, of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday June 20, 2020 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center. Loree was born May 8, 1932 in Galax to Ray and Pauline Coe Baker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands James "J.D." Smith, Herman R. Blevins; and sisters Mildred Smith and Louise Jones.

Loree is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Nancy Russell (Tony), Joyce Blevins McKinnon (Doug) all of Galax; son and daughter-in-law Herman Blevins (Sharon) of Arizona; grandsons John Blevins, Matt Blevins both of Arizona, Chris Warf (Alicia) of Galax, Tyler Russell of Ripple Mead, Virginia; and great grandchildren Claire Warf, Natalie Warf, Joy Warf, and Matt Blevins Jr. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews; special caregiver and friend Conly Ashworth; and special friend Carolyn Murphy.

The funeral service will be Monday June 22, 2020 at 12PM at Endless Possibilities Church with Rodney Christman officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery. The family will have a drive-thru visitation at the church from 11AM until time of the service.
