Lora Eva Sue Redd age 91 of Galax, Va. passed away Friday, June 20, 2008 in Waddell Nursing Home. Mrs. Redd was born on October 3, 1916 in Carroll County, Va. to John Floyd & Ellie Mae Edwards Kenny. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dilver Leen Redd. She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law Harvey & Ruth Redd; Billy & Ruth Redd; Roger & Gladys Redd all of Fries, Va.; David & Patty Redd of Galax, Va.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; ten step-great-great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Sunday, June 22, 2008 at 11:00 am in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Stacy Redd and Rev. Robby Redd officiating. Burial will follow in Popes Knob Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
