Lonnie Kyle Burcham age 83 of Fries, Virginia passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Burcham was born in Grayson County, Virginia on April 2, 1934 to Howard and Hazel Anders Burcham.

He is survived by his wife Betty Hill Burcham of Fries, Virginia; daughters and sons-in-law Tammy and Larry Lawson; Teresa and Jassen Jones all of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Tony and Lana Burcham of Woodlawn, Virginia; six grandchildren TaNeshia Akers; Trenton Gallimore; Trey Gallimore; Landon Jones; Mitch Melton and Paul Melton; great-grandchild Taevyn Akers; sisters and brothers-in-law Melba Lineberry; Novella and Gerald Coleman; Joyce Isom; Shirley and Roy Jr. Hill all of Fries, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Gary and Vanessa Burcham of Fredericksburg, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friend Mary Johnson.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 4:00 PM in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Bill Linkous and Pastor D.G. Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Fries Fire Department, P.O. Box 9 Fries, Virginia 24330.
