Lola Mae Lundy's Obituary
Lola Mae Lundy age 76 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, July 16, 2012 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Lundy was born in Galax, Virginia on June 5, 1936 to Howard and Beatrice Ayers Jones. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Lundy and a daughter Debbie Felts.
She is survived by her daughters Teresa Cox of Austinville, Virginia and Donna Strickland of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Charles Hodge, Brandon Cox, Ray Felts, Courtney Felts and Jeremy Strickland; two great-grandchildren; sisters Hazel Lundy of Baltimore, Maryland; Louise Gray and Ruby Manning both of Galax, Virginia; Freda Branscome of Pulaski, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 12:00 Noon in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Brother Max Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the funeral home.
